The bike has been in development for a number of years now and should be ready to announce at EICMA this fall.

It'll be a parallel twin instead of a V-twin because that motor is lighter and cheaper to produce, and will make about 100hp.

250mm (just under 10") of suspension travel with 21"/17" wheels.

440lbs with 20 liters (about 5.3 gallons) of gas.

Intention is for this bike to be strong competition to the F800GS/etc, with a serious offroad focus, though not as extreme as the KTM 950 Super Enduro was. Basically, Honda sees a hole in the market between the big ADV bikes and the 450 enduro class, and they want to fill it.

There may also be a future version with a 19" front wheel and more wind protection.

We'll see about this. I'm a bit skeptical.
