Concordo, óleo recomendado e para 10.000km para troca. Nos EUA a troca dependendo e feita em 5.000 milhas, 10.000 milhas ou 15.000 milhas, representa motul 3000, 5100, 7100. Na Europa o óleo Castol 10w/40, para 10.000km. Uma milha representa 1.6km só calcular.
The letter from Rotax is bogus, in error or just a mistake. In todays modern engines dino and syn, or any blend there of are interchangeable, mixable ( and may evan taste good).
The major advantage of syn is longer molecules which give higher temperature stability and long oil life before break down ( which we change at 5000 miles or 10000mile or evan 15000miles. It, by it self, does not lubricate any better. Because syn is more expensive the oil companies include a more comprehensive additive mix(cleaners, friction inhibitors, etc etc)
Our oil and water cooled Rotax engine have nice a stable temperatures unless we loose our cool! Normal Dino is just fine...as BMW says.
Having said all this I put Spectro full Syn ($$$) in my 650 because I like their additive mix....and it makes me feel better. I do go the full 6000 miles. I also know I'm over doing it. Caso não entendem inglês use CC no Google
