Yes, we do use to schedule our weekend trips with other friends, so that we don't have to take chances driving alone on the main roads that go in and out the city of Sao Paulo.
Once you get known here by other ppl, I'm pretty sure you will find friends that are willing to make such trips together.
Meanwhile, and foremost in order to achieve that, may I suggest that you introduce yourself properly, making a post at our welcome section "Apresentações pessoais".
This way more ppl will get to know you, increasing your chances to find friends for a weekend trip.
